The Rite of Passage: Stepping into Our Power

“It is our light not our darkness that frightens us

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure”

‘Our Greatest Fear’ – Marianne Williamson

Power.

It is time to embrace our power, to accept our boundless potential — without fear. Why do we fear our own power?

Many times, I believe, the word “power” becomes attached to a negative connotation — equated with corruption and greed.  This, however, is not the manner in which I use the word at all.  For those attributes are not powerful, but to the contrary cowardly and weak.

Love is the greatest power.  Love is the life-force. It is within each of us individually, and connects us all universally.

We must harness this force, and use it to drive away fear:

” I must not fear.

Fear is the mind-killer

Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration

I will face my fear

I will permit it to pass over me and through me

And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path

Where fear has gone there will be nothing… only I will remain”

Litany Against Fear, Dune – Frank Herbert

This “I” that remains is now fearless.  It has become enveloped in the love-force. It’s power knows no bounds.

So, now, whatever you may be doing — PAUSE — release your fear and allow this love force to wash over you and encompass you.

Now, YOU, have the reigns!  You are powerful beyond measure. You chose love over fear. Your life now, becomes an adventure for you to create — your very own masterpiece.

~~~~  Much love, eternally, Amanda ~~~~
